YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.

Who was Sunshine & Agape created for?

Sunshine & Agape was created for moms, dads, grandparents, and every loving adult who plays a role in nurturing a child’s emotional growth. Whether you're a parent tucking your child in at night, a grandparent connecting from afar, or a caregiver helping build daily routines, these journals are made for the adults guiding children through the start of their mindfulness and gratitude journey—one meaningful page at a time.

They’re also thoughtfully designed for kids, with age-appropriate prompts that meet them where they are developmentally—especially helpful for younger children still building reading and writing skills. The goal: lifelong benefits without the frustration, and a daily habit that feels encouraging, not overwhelming.

Are the questions the same in each journal?

Nope! Each journal is tailored to a developmental stage, but all focus on gratitude, reflection, and emotional growth.

What makes the journals age-specific?

  • Creative Explorers // K–1: Fill-in-the-blank format with visual cues
  • Creative Adventurers // 2nd–6th: More space to write, fewer structured prompts
  • Future Voices // 7th–12th: Full-page prompts for daily reflection and growth
  • Lifelong Learners // Adults: To-do lists, emotional unloads, and weekly family reflection prompts

These formats were created with real feedback from families and kids—we’ve fine-tuned them for real life.

What if we skip days?

No problem! Our journals are undated, so you can jump back in anytime.

Why are the prompts the same each day?

Repetition builds habit and comfort. For kids with anxiety, consistency provides emotional safety and predictability—two essential tools for regulation and self-esteem.

Can we journal together virtually?

Yes! Use Zoom, FaceTime, or Google Meet to connect across distances.

What does “filling someone’s bucket” mean?

It’s a metaphor for spreading kindness. When we’re kind, we “fill” someone’s emotional bucket. These prompts help kids notice both the kindness they give and receive—building social-emotional awareness that lasts a lifetime.

Are the prompts divided into morning and night?

Yes! Each journal includes indicators for morning and evening reflections—but it’s flexible. Do what works best for your family. Our founder is a mom and totally gets it—not every day goes as planned, and that’s okay. These journals are designed to adapt right alongside you and your family.

Do you have a return policy?

We do! Items returned for a refund must be returned in new condition with original packaging and contents within14 days of receipt from delivery.

Variations can occur during the printing process and these characteristics do not affect the usability of a Sunshine & Agape product and are not considered damaged. If your order is damaged from shipping or may have an error, please contact us within 10 days of delivery.

Depending on the damage, damaged items may be reprinted or replaced with the exact same style item. Refunds are processed in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.
